Si has vivido, como yo, en los años 80, este plato sin duda te va a sonar y aunque un poco olvidado, los clásicos nunca mueren. El cóctel de gambas ha sido un incondicional de las celebraciones, en especial en las fiestas navideñas cuando nos apetece empezar las comidas con un plato ligero y fresco. Es una receta fácil y rápida de preparar y que da mucho juego a la hora de presentarla.
Hay infinidad de variaciones aunque los ingredientes que no pueden faltar son las gambas, ¿obvio no?, y la salsa rosa o salsa cóctel. Yo además le he dado el toque del aguacate y en vez de las clásicas gambas cocidas he optado por utilizar frescas y cocinarlas en una sartén.
